The Gunslinger

Fan Art tribute to Stephen King's The Gunslinger (Book I of The Dark Tower series).

This illustration is a personal homage to one of my all-time favourite fictional journeys. I’ve joined with Roland and his Ka-Tet multiple times, and this piece captures the essential characters and thematic elements of the first book in an epic, cinematic movie poster style.

My primary goal was to evoke the grand, sweeping scale of classic fantasy/sci-fi posters (like the original Star Wars trilogy) while grounding the figures in the harsh, desolate landscape of Mid-World. It features Roland Deschain, Jake Chambers, Alice, Allie, and other key figures, framed by the roses, the guns, and the vast, cosmic backdrop of the Dark Tower itself. It was a true passion project to create a piece that honours the grit, mystery, and destiny woven into the fabric of this incredible story.
