Red

This piece was a creative exploration following an art challenge centered around the colour Red. The objective was to design a complete character based solely on the thematic inspiration of the colour. I envisioned Red as a confident, cyberpunk-inspired figure, a nod to classic sci-fi aesthetics mixed with modern street style.

The primary focus was on dynamic lighting and a limited but intense colour palette. I used the bright, neon-orange ring behind her to create a powerful, artificial halo effect, contrasting sharply with the deep, moody blues of the background. This illumination highlights the textures of her tech-wear and the intensity of her expression.

The colour red is integrated throughout, from her long, vibrant hair and subtle tattoos to the accents on her cropped jacket. This illustration served as an excellent exercise in rendering different materials and creating a striking, focused composition.
